Any questions we haven’t answered?

Are energy bars healthy?

BAR50 is a nutritionally complete, high-energy snack that contains a perfectly balanced amount of carbs, proteins, fat and fibre. Energy bars that are good for you!
It represents a healthier alternative to traditional snacks – such as chocolate bars and flapjacks – with no unhealthy fats, no added sugar and no unnecessary preservatives.

Why choose a Styrkr energy bar?

As well as subduing hunger in ways that energy gels and energy drinks can’t, our energy bars contain 50g of dual-source carbohydrates to deliver optimal energy, delay the onset of fatigue and keep you pushing hard all the way to your finish line.

Do energy bars actually work?

Our energy bars work every time, just ask our athletes. Revitalising and flavourful, they are tailored to the demands of cycling, running and other endurance sports and help boost energy and combat tiredness (and fight flavour fatigue on longer adventures).

What’s the difference between protein bars and energy bars?

A protein bar generally has high protein content, which works well as a meal replacement. An energy bar, on the other hand, is stacked with carbohydrates and sugars to deliver a more instantaneous boost of energy.

How do I know which flavour’s right for me?

The best way to assess which flavour is right for you is to try them all with our great value Energy Bar Taster Kit .

When to eat energy bars before a run?

It's recommended to eat BAR50 energy bars about 30 minutes to an hour before your run. This allows your body enough time to digest the bar and convert the nutrients into usable energy for your run. Read more from our nutrition hub!

For every Styrkr product purchased we’ll donate 1% of our profit to FareShare: the UK’s longest running food redistribution charity. Together we can help hungry children in the UK get the fuel they need to be the best they can be.
